The set of eight bird stamps is the third in the series portraying flora and fauna of the Arabian Gulf area. The postal announcement does not state that purchsing two sets will give the buyer a sheet with two sets and a decorative border, as it did with the Butterfly set (5 February 1968) and the later Fish set (20 May 1969). The Flower set (13 May 1968) may, or may not have had the decorative border.

• The bird sheet with two sets of stamps in it and the decorative border similar to the borders on the Fish, Butterflies and possibly the Flowers. The sheet is CTO'd with no date in the cancelation.

• A sheet of the Red Footed Falcoln stamp. It is Canceled To Order and does not have a date in the cancelation.
