This is the last set of stamps issued by Dubai as an independent entity.

To commemorate the Munich summer Olympics in 1972, a set of six stamps were issued portraying varous sports.

• The only plate number seen to date on the sheets is Plate 1A. The Canceled To Order cancelation has a date of 31 July 1972, the date of issue. It is not kown if a CTO cancelation exists without the date.
