Some of the following postmarks have no space image and do not specifically mention space. This is especially true of the Earth Day postmarks. Other Earth Day postmarks with a globe of the earth are included in the catalog.

February 2, 1935 - Oildale, California. This postmark was created for mourning of the U.S.S. Macon, the dirigible that crashed into the sea on February 2, 1935. This would not be of interest to those who are only interested in U.S. space programs.

May 29, 1961 - COMPEX STATION, Mailer's Postmark Permit No. 38828, COMPEX, Intra-Hemisphereic Solidarity . . .. Chicago, Illinois.

July 4, 1976 - CENTENNIAL WYO., "Happy 200th Birthday," U.S.A!. Centennial, Wyoming. These are fireworks, including rockets.

May 17, 1984 - USS Georgia SSBN-729, Gold Crew, Missile Launch. USS Georgia. This is from a submarine.

March 26, 1988 - PARFOREX STATION, PARFOREX, Launched in 60', Still Going Strong. Park Forest Illinois. PARFOREX had many space theme postmarks and cachets that are included in this listing. In this instance they are making fun of themselves, with a homemade rocket. Official cachet exists.

July 17, 1990 - DISNEYLAND STATION,35 Years of Magic. Anameim, California.

July 24, 1993 - EGG FESTIVAL STATION, Central Maine. Pittsfield, Maine. This is a frying pan with two spatulas said to represent the Starship Enterprise.

April 22, 1995 - BAYFRONT PARK STATION, South Florida's 25th Earth Day Celebration. Miami, Florida. (Image of a panther and a palm tree).

April 24, 1995 - EARTH FEST. STATION, ---? Anniversary (Date) of Earth day, Earth Day Southern Tier. Endicott, New York.

December 1, 1999 - SUGAR SAND STATION, Children's Science Explorium, Rocket Mail launch. Boca Raton, Florida.

May 13, 2000 - COALPEX STATION, USS Hornet. Walnut Creek, California. This is most likely for the USS Hornet that was the well known recovery ship for the launches.

July 21, 2000 - EAGLE SPACE STATION, ---?, Illinois, Prairie Nation Museum. Bloomington, Illinois. This is airplane museum and I have no further information.

April 22, 2002 - EARTH DAY STATION, Transdental Arts Council Presents The 3rd Flower bloomed in celebration of, A Loudoun County Creative Community Collaboration. Purcellville, Virginia.
